Travel Photography: Myanmar

With tourism in Myanmar in its infancy route options are still quite limited.

Most visitors of Yangon (formerly Rangoon), Mandalay, Bagan can be found (the plane with all the temples) and Inle Lake (where men rowing with one leg on your hands free to cast their fishing nets to keep the selection). This is not a problem for the first time in all to choose with a lot of near each of these objectives.

The best season to visit is during the cooler winter months, especially November to February.

The rainy season begins in late May, peaks in August and ends in October. Not only is it hot and humid; Rainfall is often heavy enough to stop the move and so is not a good time for the photographers with little time. Of course, if you are able, a more relaxed approach is to track, you can pretty much find the place himself and was able to get very dramatic effects some shots.

If prepaid appointments worth looking for include a full moon, how many religious activities on the lunar calendar. These options are of course treated with respect. The competent photographer. Dress appropriately and ensure that their presence does not interfere with any of the other participants or observers.

Yangon

For many the highlight of a visit to the largest city, is the Shwedagon Pagoda, especially if the visit by the late afternoon and evening. Many of the rooms are to leave their offices at this time and on the way home, they may file a shopping stop to have a beer or a chat with friends, or to pray. The area is so full of street activities. To a series of ad hoc opportunities and strokes ahead of pagoda around the lake and closer to Royal

An evening like this can by you are compared to the local markets and the different architectural styles as you like with a calm morning.

The mouth of the river Ayeyarwady (formerly Irrawaddy) is only 40 km away and provides a way for a large-scale water landscapes. These specialized tours may be difficult to organize on their own, but it should be possible at your hotel or a local tour guide.

Mandalay

Mandalay has a number of temples photographically interesting, even if the scene is most of the foot traffic on the U Bein bridge Dawn captured. Allow at least one night for the journey, but also a lot of other time to find their special images.

It will be worth organizing a trip to the "Temple of the Serpent" in Paleik - not only for three pythons sleep here near the statue of Buddha, but also to the temple ruins in the region relatively unknown.

Three more names to play with are: Mahamuni, Amarapura and Inwa (also Inn Wa). Each of them have their charms, but you are prompted, the opportunity to be in an environment to explore beyond it and to take with something of real Myanmar.

Some photographers enjoy the boat ride to Mingun, as much for the activities along the river, as the "Temple Cracked". If this sounds like your kind of trip, so do not try to make the market Yadanabon that gets going in the afternoon.

Bagan

Bagan needs no introduction. The fact that you're reading this, almost certainly means that you have seen the pictures from here and look to visit.

Bagan is easy, and perhaps better, on foot. The days can be incredibly warm, even in winter, so wear sunscreen and take plenty of water, if you do decide to seek their views in the middle of the day. Early in the morning can be a wonderful low-level fog and colorful skies offer, but it is worth it to be at the two ends of the day, if you treat the pace. Even if you think, taken the budget from a hot air balloon ride as you may already be an experience.

One of the most popular excursions from Bagan to Popa Mountain. It is an ancient temple here and look at the plane. Hope for a glorious sunset.

It should be noted that Bagan and Mandalay are connected by a boat service. The journey takes the majority of an entire day, but offers additional photo opportunities.

Inle Lake

The people of Inle Lake Intha become famous for their leg technique, rowing as is already very photogenic on the style jet network Fischer another dimension. The creative possibilities are endless, and so it will be worth booking a meeting with the locals (the only way to be up close and be able to control the scenes) for the late afternoon.

A visit to the lake should also have time to explore the lake and its municipalities. Local markets operate in rotation of five days, and you should be able to figure out where the best action is by inquiring at your hotel. You can move around by boat or on land. The number in your party and your budget can influence this decision. Private motor boats for a single too expensive, although you might be able to arrange a shorter journey to a place to have a different perspective on stilts to get his.

The ruins of Indein south of the lake are worth a visit, and those with more time on their hands can enjoy a visit to the nearby Nyaung Shwe to accommodate more of Shan culture.
